Hey, I’m Haringey’s Cultural Officer – the greatest job in the world (I think!). Apart from running around Haringey finding artists and discovering new venues, I also come up with lots of art projects like Oooooh Art.
I was watching a TV programme about Roosevelt's Public Works of Art Project – a scheme designed to commission artists to produce public works of art during the Great Depression. This resulted in an amazing collection of iconic 1930s art, which is now owned by the American public. I loved the idea of commissioning artists to produce a body of work which will then be owned by everyone - perfect, for the Olympics. And so, Oooooh Art intends to do exactly that.

Valeria de Donno: Blog Updater & Big Help
I work in the Haringey Arts office, and have taken over from James. I do lots of things here like - selecting films for film nights, marketing and now Oooooh Art stuff. Over the next few months I’ll be updating the blog and generally keeping an eye on the project. If you need to know anything just send me an email.
